Brother's, I need your attention for just a moment please.... I need to bring something to you. I don't want to. I wish I didn't have to. But I do need to. This only concerns a certain percentage of you. So those are the Brother's I'm speaking to. Some of the Brother's came to me first. Other's saw them come to me and they also knew it was time to speak to me. And yet other's have had a chance to speak to me, but for whatever reason, they have not. Then we have the Brother's that live out of town or out of state and do not have the chance to speak to me about this. This concerns us all. It concerns the Lodge, both as a structure AND an entity. It is something you have all signed your name to and have agreed to follow through with. You see Brother's, it is January 2010. I know! Where did the time go? It seems like it was just January 2009. But alas, that is gone and now we are all a year older. And now it is time.
Dues are due! If you do not have a 2010 membership card you are in arrears with the Lodge! If you have not seen me yet, we need your $100.00! We are only talking about $8.33 per month! This is less than a meal at most restaurants! OR $1.92 per week! Less than the Sunday paper each week! OR $0.27 per day! This is equal to 1/4 of a cup of coffee at most restaurants. (If you go to a restaurant to have coffee for $1.00 and you do that three times a week, Brothers that is $156.00 per year The Lodge would love it if we had 100% participation by January 31st, 2010! See me in the Lodge, mail me a check or money order to the Lodge or Grand Lodge and you WILL have your new 2010 dues card for Peoria Lodge #31, the most active Lodge in the great state of AZ.
