It's the Annual Roundup time for Masons in Arizona!
The 126th Arizona Masonic Grand Communication will be held in exciting and beautiful Prescott, Arizona on Thursday, Friday and Saturday, June 5, 6 and 7, 2008, headquartering at the luxurious Prescott Resort, with most events taking place at that locale, plus at the historic downtown Courthouse Square and its immediate environs. Because of the Prescott location, the first capital of the Arizona Territory, the event will be themed overall with a Western flair and a prime focus on Arizona history, Prescott history, and the history of Masonry in Arizona, all presented in an exciting, participatory and rewarding experience for those fortunate enough to be a part of the celebration!
This invitation is extended to all Masons in the great State of Arizona! Certainly all Officers of Lodges in the State will make an all out effort to be there because of their personally assumed obligation to attend all Calls made by the Grand Lodge, in particular the Worshipful Masters, Wardens, Treasurers and Secretaries, plus all Brothers craving further light in Fraternal affairs.
The event promises to be a stimulating one, with enlightening seminars and tiled sessions treating proposed legislative motions, ritual considerations, membership promotion and Masonic education. All this wrapped in the context of a fun banquet where all are encouraged to dress Western and enjoy really special themed entertainment, installation of the new Grand Master at the historic Prescott Courthouse
Square (adjacent to its fabled “Whiskey Row”), and other surprises and enjoyments.Your ladies are enthusiastically invited to accompany you to this yearly event. Friday will be very “special for the ladies”, featuring a delicious luncheon in the elegant “Crystal Ballroom” of the downtown turn-of-the-century Hotel St. Michael, with the treat of an impressive display of Victorian Grand Style fashions by the lovely ladies of the Prescott Victorian Society as they promenade throughout the dining room in their head-to-toe fashions of that charming historic era - - and there will be other wonderful surprises in store for all attending this unique and enjoyable outing.
Buses will be provided to and from downtown Prescott for the ladies on Friday so that they may visit the many boutiques, jewelry, antique and specialty shops before and/or after the luncheon. Saturday the ladies may enjoy a skill-building greeting card workshop. All in all, you will not want to miss this 126th Annual Grand Communication, truly planned to be a World Class event and one that you will be proudly talking about to the Brothers when you return to your Lodge.
